Nina qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and spent eight years in private practice, latterly as the Partner in charge of the franchising unit at Stones Porter solicitors in the City. She then joined Pannell Kerr Forster Management Consultants, where she became Director and Head of Franchise and Licensing Services.
Having been involved in franchising for over 20 years, Nina is recognised as an established expert in the field, with her unique mix of both legal and operational skills.
As a long standing Affiliate Member of the British Franchise Association (bfa) Nina is fully accredited to undertake all aspects of business format franchise consultancy and legal work. Such is her profile within the franchising industry that Nina has also served as an elected member of the Policy Board of the bfa, was one of only 6 members of the former bfa Legal Committee and is now Legal Adviser to the bfa's Quality Standards Committee.
Chris was a board director of Prontaprint PLC for eight years and had responsibility for operations before taking the role of Franchise Sales Director where he had responsibility for franchisee recruitment covering new stores and resales. He participated in an MBO in 1994 which resulted in a successful exit in 1998. He then joined United News & Media to run the National Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham which expanded his experience of different franchise systems. In 2000 he joined the board of Mail Boxes Etc. a franchise operating under master licence from the US, and became a shareholder in 2004. Today MBE have over 120 retail stores in the UK and Ireland.
Chris has over 20 years of franchising experience and has served on the bfa Policy Board. He has built up a wide knowledge of franchising, including property lease matters, but specialises in all aspects of franchisee recruitment.
